DAY
1: Phnom Penh Highlights
We begin this Cambodian experience with a visit to Wat Phnom, symbol of
the capital. After lunch, we visit the impressive
National Museum, the dazzling Silver Pagoda and sobering Tuol Sleng.

DAY
2: Takeo and Phnom Da
We head south to Takeo to take a boat to Phnom Da and
Asaram Moha Russei before having a picnic lunch. Later we visit the Chenla museum at Angkor Borei. We continue south to Kampot for the night.
DAY
3: Kampot and Bokor
We head up the jungle road to Bokor Hill Station to
take in the incredible views and enjoy a picnic at Popokvil Waterfall. In the afternoon, we explore the crumbling
buildings at Bokor before continuing to the resort of Sihanoukville.

DAY 4: Beaches of Sihanoukville
We enjoy a relaxing morning on the quiet beaches of Sihanoukville
before sampling a seafood lunch at a beachside restaurant. Later in the afternoon, we return to Phnom
Penh.
DAY 5: Kratie and the Freshwater Dolphins
We travel by boat from Phnom Penh to Kratie to view
Cambodia’s freshwater dolphins. After
lunch, we go by boat to see them on the Mekong and take in a classic river view
from Phnom Sombok. We enjoy a local
dinner and overnight in Kratie.

DAY 6: Kompong Cham
We
travel by boat to Kompong Cham and visit the Angkorian-era temple of Wat Nokor
and the hilltop pagodas of Phnom Pros and Phnom Srey. In the afternoon, we visit a nearby Mekong island and its
pagodas. Feel free to cycle along the
riverbank or browse around the market.
DAY 7: Kompong Thom and Sambor Prei
Kuk
We head to Kompong Thom to visit the
pre-Angkorian temples of Sambor Prei Kuk.
En route, we visit pretty Prasat Guha Nokor. After lunch, we visit the hilltop temple of Phnom Sontuk, with
its many Buddha images. We stay the
night in Kompong Thom.

DAY
8: Kompong Thom to Siem Reap
We visit Prasat Andet on the journey to Siem
Reap. We enjoy a picnic lunch in
Kompong Kdei, home of one of the largest Angkorian-era bridges in
Cambodia. We continue to Siem Reap, our
base for the rest of the tour.
DAY
9: Roluos and the Grand Circuit
We visit the earliest temples of the Angkor period at
Roluos, including Preah Ko, Bakong, and Lolei. After lunch, we visit the
highlights of the grand circuit, including petite Neak Poan, the Eastern Mebon,
Pre Rup and huge Preah Khan.
DAY 10: Angkor Thom and the Small Circuit
We visit the sites of the walled city of Angkor Thom,
including Victory Gate, the Bayon, Baphuon, Phimean Akas, Terrace of the
Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King.
After lunch, we visit the highlights of the petit circuit, including
Prasat Kravan, Sras Srang, Banteay Kdei, Takeo, and jungle-clad Ta Prohm. We watch sunset over Angkor Wat then return
to town.

DAY 11: Banteay Srei and Angkor Wat
We enjoy an early morning visit to Angkor Wat to
watch sunrise, before continuing north to visit the elegant temple of Banteay
Srei and well-preserved Banteay Samre.
After lunch in town, we visit magnificent Angkor Wat to view its
architecture and bas-reliefs.
DAY 12: Phnom Krom and the
Floating Village
We
travel to Phnom Krom for a cruise on the Tonle Sap, passing through floating
villages. After lunch in town, we visit
Artisans d’Angkor and the Western Baray.
We then transfer to airport for the flight out.
